This Tahini Banana Bread is moist, fluffy and has a subtle nutty flavor from the tahini. Made in one bowl and naturally sweetened with ripe bananas and maple syrup.
Tahini Banana Bread
Banana bread is always a go to when I have a few extra ripe bananas. This time, however, I wanted to try something a little a different, so cue the tahini. The tahini gives the bread a subtle nutty, salty-sweet flavor that pairs perfectly with the banana and chocolate chips. It’s a great spin on the classic bread that you’ll be sure to love.
Don’t have tahini on hand? No problem! Just try swapping it out with another runny nut butter.
What is Tahini?
Tahini is a Middle Eastern condiment made from sesame seeds. It’s toasted then blended until smooth, just like peanut and almond butter.
It is also used in many other dishes like hummus, sauces and dressings. Just like in this Chickpea Caesar Salad.
