This Cinnamon Sugar Overnight French Toast Bake is the perfect make ahead breakfast for this holiday season! It’s easy to assemble, can feed a crowd, and will have your home smelling delicious.

what you’ll need:

  • challah or brioche bread
  • eggs
  • milk of choice (I prefer almond milk)
  • cinnamon
  • coconut sugar
  • vanilla
  • salt

optional toppings

  • powdered sugar
  • mixed berries
  • maple syrup

Cinnamon. Sugar Overnight French Toast

Cook Time 50 minutes mins
Rest overnight time 8 hours hrs
Course Breakfast, Dessert
Servings 8 servings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf challah or brioche bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup coconut sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2½ cups milk of choice
  • pinch of salt

optional garnish

  • powdered sugar, fruit, maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Grease a 9×9 or 8×8 inch baking pan with butter or oil.
  • Dice bread into 1-inch cubes then add into pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients then pour evenly over bread. Gently mix to make sure all pieces are soaked in liquid. Cover with plastic wrap then refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.

On day of baking..

  • Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • Remove plastic wrap and bake for 45-50 minutes.
  • Garnish with powdered sugar and fruit of choice
