These Banana Chocolate Chip Protein Pancakes are healthy, delicious and super easy to make! Made with protein powder and greek yogurt to add in some extra protein to your morning meal.

Whether you’re looking for a great way to use up those extra ripe bananas you have on hand or simply want an easy flavorful breakfast recipe, these pancakes are great for all occasions.

Made with only 11 ingredients you probably already have on hand.

EXTRA TOPPING IDEAS

  • Greek Yogurt
  • Fresh fruit: Banana slices, strawberries or blueberries
  • Chocolate chips
  • Sliced almonds or walnuts
  • Your favorite nut butter
  • Maple syrup
  • Honey

Banana Chocolate Chip Protein Pancakes

Servings 9 pancakes

Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients

  • ½ cup mashed banana
  • 5.3 ounces ( or ½ cup) plain non-fat greek yogurt
  • ¾ cup plain almond milk, or your favorite non-dairy milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Dry Ingredients

  • ½ cup almond or oat flour
  • 1 cup unbleached all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 30 g plain or vanilla protein powder
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips

For cooking,

  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, whisk together all the wet ingredients until evenly combined.
  • Add in dry ingredients, except chocolate, and mix until evenly combined. Then stir in chocolate chips
  • Lightly butter a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, scoop out ⅓ cup of batter and pour onto skillet. Once bubbling around the edges, about 3-4 minutes, flip pancakes over to cook for another 3-4 minutes. Repeat by butter skillet again and continue cooking pancakes in batches.
