These soy garlic ginger chicken wings are the perfect game day snack! Baked until golden and crispy then infused with a soy, garlic and ginger marinade.

If you’re like me, anything with a soy, garlic and ginger combo, you’re game. And these chicken wings are no exception.

These wings are super easy to make and don’t require a ton of ingredients!

Course dinner, Main Course, Snack
Servings 3 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ tbsp grated garlic
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • ½ tbsp honey
  • ¼ cup coconut sugar
  • ⅓ cup low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

  • Pre-heat oven at 425 degrees.
  • Toss chicken wings with oil, salt and pepper.
  • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil then place an oven-safe wire rack on top. Spread out chicken wings in a single layer on the rack. Make sure they're not overlapping.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes until crispy.
  • In the mean time, combine the remaining ingredients in a small pot.
  • Bring sauce to a simmer over medium-low heat, whisking occasionally. Keep a close eye out to not over boil. Once sauce has slightly thickened and reduced, about 8-10 minutes., remove from heat to let cool.
  • Remove wings from oven and toss in sauce then place back on wire rack and transfer to oven to cook for 10 additional minutes.
  • Once done, serve with any extra sauce for dipping.
