Pre-heat oven at 425 degrees.
Toss chicken wings with oil, salt and pepper.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil then place an oven-safe wire rack on top. Spread out chicken wings in a single layer on the rack. Make sure they're not overlapping.
Bake for 40-45 minutes until crispy.
In the mean time, combine the remaining ingredients in a small pot.
Bring sauce to a simmer over medium-low heat, whisking occasionally. Keep a close eye out to not over boil. Once sauce has slightly thickened and reduced, about 8-10 minutes., remove from heat to let cool.
Remove wings from oven and toss in sauce then place back on wire rack and transfer to oven to cook for 10 additional minutes.
Once done, serve with any extra sauce for dipping.
