Golden Milk Turmeric Latte

This golden milk turmeric latte is cozy and delicious and loaded with anti-inflammatory health benefits.

INGREDIENTS AND BENEFITS

  • Almond milk: I used sweetened vanilla almond milk, but you can use plain and or unsweetened as well!
  • Turmeric: a great natural anti-inflammatory and strong antioxidant thanks to its main active ingredient, curcumin.
  • Cinnamon: also has great anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
  • Ground ginger: helps with digestion, lowers blood pressure and can soothe sore muscles.
  • Maple syrup: I used maple syrup but you can also substitute honey.
  • Black Pepper: help absorb the curcumin in turmeric and therefore should always be used when using turmeric.

This drink not only has its health benefits but it’s simply just taste really amazing! Warm and cozy, perfectly sweet and little teeny kick from the ginger and black pepper. It’s great anytime of day, whether in the morning, mid-day pick me up, or a comforting drink at night before bed.

Golden Milk Turmeric Latte

Course Drinks
Servings 1 cup

Ingredients
  

  • 1¼ cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 cinnamon stick or ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • pinch of ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a small pot over low heat, whisk together all ingredients until smooth until hot. Avoid letting it come to a boil.
