This Romesco and Sausage Flatbread is perfect way to end a busy week. Made with only 5 ingredients and takes only minutes to prepare.
I created this recipe with one main thing in mind: convenience. It’s the end of the week, and although I just brought groceries, I wasn’t in the mood to cook something elaborate. So cue the store bought time-savers: pre-made flat bread, romesco sauce, cooked chicken sausage, and balsamic glaze. These store bought ingredients make the prep time so much faster, and still bring so much flavor.
Romesco and Sausage Flatbread
Ingredients
- 1 flatbread pizza crust
- ⅓ cup romesco sauce
- 2 chicken sausages, cut in ¼-inch rounds
- 4 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
- balsamic glaze, for drizzling
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven as instructed on flatbread directions.
- Spread romesco sauce on flat bread. Top with sausages, followed by mozzarella.
- Bake as instructed on package.
- Once done, drizzle with balsamic and cut into slices.
