Protein Brownie Bites
Ingredients
Brownie
- ⅓ cup almond flour
- ⅓ cup oat flour
- ⅓ cup almond or peanut butter
- 1 serving chocolate protein powder or collagen powder
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp almond milk
- pinch of salt
Chocolate Coating
- ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together all the brownie ingredients until evenly mixed.
- Use a tablespoon measuring spoon to scoop out and form into 12 balls. Place on a plate and set in fridge to chill for at 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, microwave chocolate chips and coconut oil for 20s. Stir then heat in 10s increments until chocolate is melted.
- Use a fork to help coat the balls in the chocolate then place on a parchment lined plate sprinkle with additional salt if preferred. Repeat with all the balls and place back into fridge until set.
- To store, keep in an airtight container in the fridge.
