Soft Baked Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

If banana bread and chocolate chip cookies combined, this delicious cookie would be the result! It’s soft in the middle and not too sweet.

I love banana bread. And I love cookies. So why not join the two together? Maybe you’re tired of making banana bread but still want the flavor, these cookies are a perfect blend of banana bread and a classic soft baked chocolate chip cookie. Plus add in the peanut butter chips, because who doesn’t like their banana bread topped with some peanut butter? And just like that you have the perfect banana chocolate chip cookie.

Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 & ¼ cup Almond Flour
  • ¾ cup All-purpose Flour
  • ¼ cup Coconut Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ¼ tsp Salt

Wet Ingredients

  • ½ cup Mashed Bananas (about 2 small bananas)
  • ¼ cup Coconut Oil, melted
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • ½ cup Chocolate Chips
  • ¼ cup Peanut Butter Chips, optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a medium bowl, combine all the dry ingredients together until evenly mixed.
  • In a separate large bowl, peel then mash bananas.
  • Mix in coconut oil and vanilla until evenly combined.
  • Mix half of dry mix into wet mix until just combined then add in other half of dry mix and mix again until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and peanut butter chips if using.
  • Form into balls on a lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes and cool slightly before serving.
