Smoothies in the winter may seem kind of odd, but there are a couple of things I like to keep in mind when I’m craving a smoothie during these colder months.
- Keep ingredients cold but not frozen. For the bananas in particular I like to chill it a little before using it instead of using frozen bananas. This way my smoothie will be cold but not freezing.
- Use warming spices. In this smoothie I use cinnamon but other spices like nutmeg, turmeric and ginger can go great in smoothies to warm them up.
