Think guacamole meets hummus for this rich, creamy and absolutely delicious dip! It’s a perfect make ahead snack that goes great with veggies, crackers and adds the best boost of flavor to a sandwich or wrap.
Avocado Hummus
Ingredients
- 1 avocado
- 1 (13oz) can chickpeas, drained
- 1-2 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1-1.5 cups cilantro
- 2-3 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- sesame seeds, to garnish – optional
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients (starting with the lesser amount listed) except olive oil, into a food processor or blender.
- Start blending while gradually pouring in olive oil until smooth. Taste and adjust to liking.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and extra cilantro
