Protein Pizza with Chicken Sausage

Less than 20-minutes to make this high Protein Pizza using a store bought short cut: frozen pizza. Great for a quick weeknight meal that’s high in protein by adding chicken sausage to a frozen Banza Margherita Pizza. Additionally, pair this with a side salad for a more complete meal.

Protein Pizza with Chicken Sausage

Servings 2 servings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 frozen margherita pizza, I used Banza brand
  • 1 chicken sausage, cut into ¼-inch slices
  • ¼ small zucchini, cut into thin slices
  • 2 tbsp basil pesto

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven according to pizza instructions
  • Cut sausage into ¼-inch rounds. Thinly slice zucchini, using a mandoline slicer or knife.
  • Spread the sausage and zucchini over the pizza. Bake according to package directions.
  • Once baked, transfer pizza to a cutting board. Top with pesto then cut into 8 slices and enjoy!
