Fresh Salmon Burger

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb salmon, skin removed
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 scallions
additional toppings
  • 4 burger buns
  • cucumber slices
  • avocado slices
  • lettuce
  • BBQ sauce

Method
 

  1. Coarsely chop ¼ of salmon into ¼-inch pieces.
  2. Finely chop remaining ¾ of salmon as finely as possible and place all of salmon into a bowl.
  3. Thinly slice scallions, white and greens, and add into bowl with seasonings.
  4. Mix until evenly combined.
  5. Divide mixture into four and form into patties then chill for at least 20 minutes to firm up.
  6. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook patties for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  7. Toast buns, if using, for 1-2 minutes then top your toppings of choice.
