Fresh Salmon Burger

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb salmon, skin removed
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 scallions

  • 4 burger buns
  • cucumber slices
  • avocado slices
  • lettuce
  • BBQ sauce

Instructions
 

  • Coarsely chop ¼ of salmon into ¼-inch pieces.
  • Finely chop remaining ¾ of salmon as finely as possible and place all of salmon into a bowl.
  • Thinly slice scallions, white and greens, and add into bowl with seasonings.
  • Mix until evenly combined.
  • Divide mixture into four and form into patties then chill for at least 20 minutes to firm up.
  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook patties for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Toast buns, if using, for 1-2 minutes then top your toppings of choice.
