Prepare bacon jam according to directions and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix salt and pepper together and set aside.
Divide meat into 4 equal portions (4 ounce each) and form loosely packed patties about ¾- inch thick. Press an indentation in the center of the patty.
Season both sides with the salt and pepper mix.
Heat a non stick pan or skillet over high heat. Cook the patties for 3-5 minutes on each side depending on desired doneness and flip over for another 3-4 minutes. On the last minute on the second side, top patties with cheese.
In the meantime, toast the buns and slice tomatoes.
Once burgers are done, top with a scoop of bacon ham, 2 slices of tomatoes, greens, and BBQ sauce if desired.
